Diarise the most prestigious date on the South African Music Calendar

The most prestigious date on the South African music calendar is on the horizon, so get your diary out and block off the weekend of the 16th and 17th of April 2010, because that’s when the 16th Annual MTN SA Music Awards hits Sun City. Then, get to Computicket and book some seats for you and your posse, because this year the event is going to surpass the incredibly high standards set in previous ones.

The MTN SA Music Awards has become synonymous with top quality performances, high-glam antics and electric atmospheres. Enjoying the main event on Saturday the 17th in the flesh is the best way to experience it, but if you can’t be there, then you can catch the live broadcast on SABC 1. It’s the one weekend when Mzansi’s music community gets together to pay tribute to their top performers, outdo one another on stage and party ‘til the early hours. As always it’s going to be packed, so don’t sleep on this one – book your place for the main event now, and make sure that you’re there live to catch all the action as it goes down.

What does your job require? My job requires heart, stamina and the ability to adapt. Trends and competition are a huge factor and I have to stay on my toes. I have to be very organized and pay attention to every detail. My job also requires a great deal of insight and creativity

Nike, MTV Base, Hype Magazine, Creative Recreation, Head Honcho, Contempo condoms, Trace TV, Channel O, every liquor brand lol... To name a few.
A Day In The Life Of Tebello?
Usually starts at 6am... I usually handle some documents or web updates. I workout at about 7, breakfast around 8, office at 9, meetings (venue owners, djs, artists, brand managers, clients, my partner) and admin then take up most
of my morning and early afternoon. I try and give my afternoon to my lady unless the workload is too much. I get in the house around 6pm, I cook and then handle any work that I haven't tied up. Take a shower and read. I sleep around midnight... Please note that on days when I have events, there is no order... We simply just go in.

Pros and Cons Of Your Job?

I get to do me... I answer to no one and I don't have to deal with excuses. I'm surrounded by talent and energy and I feed off of it. Of course there is always risk but I wouldn't have it any other way... I love the pressure.
